about me

I have taught yoga for well over a decade, and have worked in the realm of holistic health for 15 years. I hold certifications and have completed mentorships in many adaptive forms of teaching. I have a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Mills College, and my work has evolved to center around older adult populations over the last 7 years.

I’m interested in the body as a home and as a site of reverence, and I am interested in yoga as a means of developing a deeper capacity for coexistence and compassion. I’m not there yet.

Sometimes labels are helpful, so here: I have a Libra sun and everything else in Scorpio, I am a non-dualist, a sensualist, a bookworm, an avid hiker, and am committed to paying attention and cultivating joy in my relationships and my calling.
